Establishment of the parent company “UW Tech GmbH” in Berlin, Germany.

Establishment in Greece of a branch of the German parent company “UW TECH GmbH”, under the name “UW TECH GmbH Hellas Branch”.

Supply to the Holy Community of Mount Athos of 4 advanced composting systems, as part of the project «Supply of Municipal Solid Waste Management Equipment for Mount Athos».

Award of our first waste management project, entitled «Operation of the Komotini Sanitary Landfill (SLF)», by the Developmental Anonymous Company for Waste Management of Eastern Macedonia – Thrace (DI.A.A.MA.TH. S.A.), involving the operation and maintenance of the Komotini Sanitary Landfill.

Award of our first water supply network management project for the Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Alexandroupolis (DEYA Alexandroupolis), entitled «Supply and Installation of an Integrated Telecontrol and Remote Control System for the Optimisation of Water Supply Network Operations, the Reduction of Non-Revenue Water and the Energy Upgrade of Electromechanical Installations – Phase A». The project comprised 9 Local Control Stations (LCS), 26 Local Reservoir Stations (LRS), 16 hydraulically isolated District Metered Areas (DMAs), each equipped at its inlet with a Local Pressure Control and Regulation Station (LPCRS), 26 Local Pressure Control Stations (LPCS), 16 of which operate as Critical Points, 3 Local Residual Chlorine Monitoring Stations (LRCMS), one Central Control Station (CCS) with SCADA software, software for leak detection and water supply network efficiency assessment, energy monitoring and management software, and water supply network GIS visualisation software, as well as the pilot integration of 600 smart water meters for monitoring the water balance within one DMA. Since then, dozens of similar projects have been implemented throughout Greece, including in Kavala, Agrinio, Lesvos, Patras, Ioannina, and other locations.

Establishment of the company «UW TECH HELLAS ΠΕΡΙΒΑΛΛΟΝΤΙΚΕΣ ΥΠΗΡΕΣΙΕΣ – ΚΑΤΑΣΚΕΥΕΣ ΕΞΟΠΛΙΣΜΟΥ Α.Ε.» through the spin-off and transformation of the Greek branch of the foreign German company “UW TECH GmbH”.

Our subsidiary, «Ithaca Destination Smart S.A.», undertakes, as a subcontractor, the supply of 23,790 NEMA-type smart lighting controllers, the development of the LoRaWAN wireless network (radio coverage study, LoRaWAN gateways and Network Server) across the entire Region of Attica, and the provision of support services for the above systems for a period of 10 years, as part of the project «Maintenance and Upgrade of Road Lighting along the Main Road Axes of the Region of Attica, with the Aim of Achieving Energy Savings and Reducing Operating Costs». Since 2025, support services have been transferred to our company.

Acquisition of a 50% stake in the company by the «MESOGEOS S.A.» Group.

Our company invests in «AiGROW», a pioneering start-up developing a smart agriculture platform based on AI technologies.

First installations

Commencement of the design and construction of smart recycling points for different types of recyclable materials, and their installation in numerous municipalities across Greece through public tenders.

Development and commissioning of the first TelCo-oriented LoRaWAN Network Server (LNS) in Greece, under the commercial name LoRettE.

Change of the company’s corporate name to «ΜΕΣΟΓΕΙΟΣ DIGITAL ΨΗΦΙΑΚΕΣ ΕΦΑΡΜΟΓΕΣ – ΑΝΑΠΤΥΞΗ SOFTWARE – ΠΡΟΪΟΝΤΑ ΤΕΧΝΟΛΟΓΙΑΣ Α.Ε.».

Completion of the development of the first fully integrated LoRaWAN wireless communication network in Greece, comprising LoRaWAN gateways and a Network Server (LNS), aimed at supporting smart city applications as part of the project «Smart City Connectivity Actions» of the Municipality of Patras. To date, dozens of IoT sensors have been connected to the network, including smart water meters, smart recycling points, parking sensors, sensors for monitoring manholes of combined sewer systems, and others.
